Chocolate, Hazelnut & Kumara Smoothie Bowls

Try this delicious, indulgently guilt-free smoothie bowl! It has the most incredible chocolate flavour and a delightfully creamy, thick texture, it'll feel like you are having dessert for breakfast!

Ingredients

1c milk (try using 1/2 c almond milk and 1/2c coconut milk for a dairy free alternative)

1/2c orange kumara, cubed and steamed

1 frozen banana

2T Mount Somers Chocolate and Hazelnut Flavour Honey +1T

1T raw cacao powder

A pinch of salt

1/4c chopped hazelnuts

 

Method

  1. Blend all of the ingredients, except for the chopped hazelnuts and extra honey, in a blender until they come together and pour into a bowl.
  2. Heat the extra honey in the microwave for 5 seconds until melted.
  3. Pour drops of the melted honey into the bowl then swirl using a skewer.
  4. Sprinkle chopped hazelnuts on top, then serve.
